Dermal Fillers
Volume, contour, and structure — subtle, never excessive.
Cross-linked hyaluronic acid gels placed with anatomical precision to restore lost volume, refine proportion, or hydrate the skin. My default is restraint: replace what was lost, don't inflate what wasn't there.
Best for volume restoration, contour balance, and subtle lip work.
- ·Lip shape, definition, and hydration
- ·Cheek and mid-face volume
- ·Jawline and chin contouring
- ·Tear-trough (under-eye hollow)
- ·Nasolabial folds and marionette lines
- ·Asymmetry correction
Three steps, every time.
- Consultation & mapping
I assess your anatomy head-on and in profile, mark injection points, and explain product choice. I will say no to what won't suit you.
15 – 20 min - Anaesthesia & injection
Topical numbing cream for 15–20 minutes; most HA products contain lidocaine. Fine-needle or cannula technique depending on area.
20 – 40 min - Review & aftercare brief
We review symmetry together. Written aftercare and a follow-up at two weeks when swelling has settled.
5 – 10 min
I will not overfill a face that doesn't need it. If you come asking for a 'cat eye' lift, 10 syringes of filler, or a lip volume that changes the shape of your mouth — I will tell you no. I am happy to send you to another doctor.
The first 2 weeks settle the result.
Expect mild swelling for 2–5 days and the occasional bruise, especially on lips and tear-trough. The final result is visible at 14 days — don't judge it sooner.
Do
- Sleep on your back with head slightly elevated for 3 nights.
- Cold-compress lips or bruised areas in the first 24 hours.
- Arnica or bromelain if you bruise easily (optional).
- Book your follow-up at 2 weeks — adjustments are free within 30 days.
Don't
- Massage, press, or manipulate the treated areas for 2 weeks.
- Exercise, sauna, or steam for 48 hours.
- Dental procedures for 2 weeks if fillers are mid-face.
- Fly long-haul for 72 hours — pressure changes worsen swelling.
