Dermal Fillers

Volume, contour, and structure, used sparingly.

Cross-linked hyaluronic acid gels placed with anatomical precision to restore lost volume, refine proportion, or hydrate the skin. My default is restraint: replace what was lost, don't inflate what wasn't there.

What it treats

Best for volume restoration, contour balance, and subtle lip work.

  • ·Lip shape, definition, and hydration
  • ·Cheek and mid-face volume
  • ·Jawline and chin contouring
  • ·Tear-trough (under-eye hollow)
  • ·Nasolabial folds and marionette lines
  • ·Asymmetry correction
Aftercare

Two weeks to the real result.

Expect mild swelling for 2–5 days and the occasional bruise, especially on lips and tear-trough — lips stay visibly swollen for a couple of days, and that is normal. The final result is visible at 14 days. Don't judge it sooner.

Do

  • Sleep on your back with head slightly elevated for 3 nights.
  • Cold-compress lips or bruised areas in the first 24 hours.
  • Arnica or bromelain if you bruise easily (optional).
  • Return for your follow-up at 2 weeks. Adjustments are free within 30 days.
  • Contact the clinic the same hour for blanching, pain that keeps building, or any change in vision. This is the one filler complication that does not wait. If it is worsening before we answer, go straight to the nearest emergency department.

Don't

  • Massage, press, or manipulate the treated areas for 2 weeks.
  • Exercise or use a sauna or steam room for 48 hours.
  • Have dental work for 2 weeks if the filler was placed mid-face.
  • Take a flight longer than about 2 hours for 72 hours; pressure changes worsen swelling.
  • Smoke while the treated area heals; it slows healing and worsens bruising.
