Exosome Therapy

Cell-signalling vesicles, delivered to fresh microchannels.

Exosomes are tiny extracellular vesicles carrying growth factors, peptides, and signalling molecules. I deliver them topically after microneedling or laser, so they penetrate through the open channels and accelerate the skin's own repair. Newer, adjunctive — not a standalone miracle.

Typical sessions3 – 4
Session length30 – 60min
Downtime0 – 2days
DiscomfortMild (driven by carrier treatment)
What it treats

Best as an adjunct, after a structural or regenerative treatment.

  • ·Post-laser recovery and quality boost
  • ·Acne scar protocols (with microneedling)
  • ·Fine lines, texture, elasticity
  • ·Hair thinning (with scalp microneedling)
  • ·Redness and post-inflammatory marks
  • ·Sensitive or reactive skin
How a session goes

Three steps, combined with a carrier.

  1. Carrier treatment

Microneedling, RF Microneedling, or fractional laser opens the microchannels through which exosomes travel.

    20 – 40 min
  2. Exosome application

A freshly reconstituted exosome serum is massaged into the treated skin and left to absorb, then reapplied in layers.

    10 – 15 min
  3. Take-home protocol

Post-care serum for 3–5 days, continued at home. Follow-up at 4 weeks.

    5 min

Exosomes are promising, not proven across every indication. The strongest evidence is for post-laser recovery and regenerative adjuncts. If you see exosomes marketed as a standalone facelift, be sceptical — I am.

Aftercare

Follows the carrier treatment's timeline.

Aftercare is driven by whatever treatment the exosomes were paired with — laser or microneedling. Exosomes tend to shorten, not extend, the recovery window.

Do

  • Complete the take-home exosome serum protocol.
  • Follow the aftercare for the carrier treatment (laser / microneedling).
  • SPF 50+ every morning for the full recovery window.
  • Do the full series if the indication calls for it — typically 3–4 sessions.

Don't

  • Apply actives (retinoids, acids) for 5 days.
  • Expect standalone results — exosomes without a carrier are a cream, not a treatment.
  • Mix exosome brands mid-series.
  • Time it too close to another treatment — we stagger.
