CO₂RE® Resurfacing
Ablative resurfacing for deep texture, scars, and photoageing.

The Candela CO₂RE®: a 10,600 nm fractional CO₂ laser that ablates microscopic columns of skin and triggers deep collagen remodelling, while the surrounding tissue acts as a healing reservoir. Nothing else I use goes this deep. The same platform treats intimate indications through a dedicated gynaecological probe; that work has its own page, and its own recovery.

Aftercare
The first week is recovery, not rest.
Day one, it looks like a burn, kept under a layer of protective cream. By day three, crusts may form; on the eyelids, swelling is expected for the first 2–3 days. By day seven the redness is still there, but the skin underneath is renewed and tighter. Wound care is strict — follow it exactly.
Do
- Keep the area occluded, day and night, with the balm I give you.
- Sleep on your back, head elevated, for five nights.
- Start SPF 50+ the moment crusts have lifted, and wear it for six months.
- Contact the clinic the same day if you see unusual swelling, pus, or darkening.
Don't
- Pick at crusts or peel the skin. You will scar.
- Exercise, sauna, or hot showers for 7 days.
- Sunbathe on the area without reliable SPF 50+; keep the laser 2 weeks clear either side of a holiday like that.
- Apply actives (retinoids, acids, vitamin C) for 4 weeks.
