CO₂ Laser Resurfacing
Ablative resurfacing for deep texture, scars, and photoaging.
A 10,600 nm fractional CO₂ laser that ablates microscopic columns of skin and triggers deep collagen remodelling, while the surrounding tissue acts as a healing reservoir. The strongest resurfacing tool I offer.
Best for deep texture, scars, and structural photoaging.
- ·Deep wrinkles and folds
- ·Acne and surgical scars
- ·Advanced photoaging
- ·Enlarged pores, uneven texture
- ·Stretch marks
- ·Mild to moderate skin laxity
Four steps, every time.
- Consultation & assessment
We review skin type, sun habits, and healing history. Photographs. I explain the downtime in detail — this is a real recovery, not a tidy one.
15 – 20 min - Anaesthesia & preparation
Topical numbing cream for 45–60 minutes; for stronger passes I add regional nerve blocks. The skin is cleaned and cooled.
45 – 60 min - Laser pass
The laser moves across the area in overlapping passes. Heat, sharp pulses, and a smell of burning keratin. Tolerable, not comfortable.
20 – 40 min - Wound-care brief & follow-up plan
Occlusive balm is applied. You leave with written aftercare, my number, and a follow-up at 48 hours.
10 min
This is one of the most uncomfortable treatments I offer, and the downtime is real. Five to seven days of oozing, crusting, then pink skin that takes weeks to settle. If you cannot take a week off the mirror, this is not your treatment.
The first week is recovery, not rest.
Expect redness, ooze, and crust-formation for 3–5 days; then pink new skin that takes weeks to fade. Wound care is strict. I check in daily.
Do
- Keep the area occluded with the prescribed balm, day and night.
- Sleep on your back, head elevated, for five nights.
- Start SPF 50+ the moment crusts have lifted, and wear it for six months.
- Message me if you see unusual swelling, pus, or darkening.
Don't
- Pick at crusts or peel the skin — you will scar.
- Exercise, sauna, or hot showers for 7 days.
- Expose the area to any sun for 6 weeks.
- Apply actives (retinoids, acids, vitamin C) for 4 weeks.
